Workshop: What's in it for me? Getting the best out of a mentoring relationship

Online workshop: What's in it for me? Getting the best out of a mentoring relationship

About the course

Mentoring shares many of the core relational skills of good coaching, for example listening and building trust, but it requires the mentor to share more of their expertise and wisdom.

This module will enable participants to help mentees understand their organisational context, feel valued and appreciated and cope with uncertainty. Participants will be able to provide feedback and help mentees think through what they want to do, including how they manage risk.

I now understand the importance of mentoring and how this can help me professionally - both self-development and improving the service I provide to service users.
Really well presented and structured. Great materials and real-life examples and plenty of time to interact with other attendees.
