Leeds Fresh ‘n’ Fruity supported, through National Lottery funding, local community members to make healthier food choices by improving access to fruit and vegetables through running market style stalls and van delivery. Trained Community Health Educators supported the project’s work through motivating and engaging local people in various activities like signposting to a volunteer ‘Activator’ course, promoting cooking skills and developing food project packages.
