Using National Lottery funding, Healthwise Hull worked to build capacity within the city’s priority communities by supporting people to be more active, eat more healthily and to improve their mental well-being. It worked to empower volunteer Community Health Champions to become more engaged in a wide range of activities, including local planning decisions affecting health.
