Are you interested in becoming a Practice Health Champion?

Six GP practices* in North Leeds are currently looking for people interested in training to become volunteer Practice Health Champions. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with a passion and drive to help those in their local community improve their health and wellbeing. Working with staff at the practice, Practice Health Champions aim to work together to find new ways to improve the services and activities that the practice offers.

Ahead of starting the role, new Practice Health Champions are asked to attend a free two day workshop which provides the skills and knowledge to equip them for the role. The training is also a chance to meet with other new Champions and Practice staff.

The latest training dates are:

Wed 17th Sept & Wed 24th Sept, 10am – 3pm
Shine, Harehills road, LS8 5HS

Those interested are also invite to attend an informal information session on 10th September, 10:30am - 11:30am at the Reginald Centre, Chapeltown road, LS7 3EX.

Saturday 18th Oct and Saturday 25th Oct, 10:30am - 3:30pm
